Son d\u00f6nemde E\u011fitim Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n da deste\u011fiyle, yeterlilik temelli \u00f6\u011frenme ABD i\u00e7inde h\u0131zla yay\u0131lmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Yetkinli\u011fe dayal\u0131 \u00f6\u011frenim bir kamp\u00fcs program\u0131 arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla sunulabiliyor ancak bu t\u00fcr programlar\u0131 alan \u00f6\u011frencilerin \u00e7o\u011fu zaten \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yor veya i\u015f ar\u0131yor oldu\u011fundan ve <\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">teknoloji her \u00f6\u011frencinin \u00f6nceki bilgilerine dayal\u0131 olarak i\u00e7erikle farkl\u0131 bir yol izlemesine olanak sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan giderek daha fazla \u00e7evrim i\u00e7i olarak sunulmakta..<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\">4.5.3 Yeterlik temelli \u00f6\u011frenmenin tasar\u0131m\u0131<\/h3>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\">Yeterlik temelli \u00f6\u011frenmenin tasar\u0131m\u0131nda bir\u00e7ok yakla\u015f\u0131m olsa da Western Governors\u2019\u0131n modeli temel ad\u0131mlar\u0131n bir\u00e7o\u011funu \u00f6zetlemektedir.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\">4.5.3.1 Yeterliklerin tan\u0131mlanmas\u0131<\/h4>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\">\u00c7o\u011fu yeterlilik temelli program\u0131n bir \u00f6zelli\u011fi, gerekli yeterliliklerin (en az\u0131ndan \u00fcst d\u00fczey yeterliliklerin) belirlenmesinde i\u015fverenler ve e\u011fitimcilerin ortakla\u015fa \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Belirlenen 30 yeterli\u011fin t\u00fcm\u00fc ba\u015far\u0131yla edinildi\u011finde, \u00f6\u011frenciler diploma almaya hak kazan\u0131rlar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Hem \u00f6\u011frencilerin hem i\u015fverenlerin gereksinimlerini kar\u015f\u0131layacak yeterliliklerin kademeli (bir yeterli\u011fin daha \u00f6nceki yeterlilikler \u00fczerine yap\u0131land\u0131r\u0131l\u0131p daha ileri d\u00fczey yeterliliklere g\u00f6t\u00fcrmesi) ve tutarl\u0131 (t\u00fcm yeterliliklerin toplam\u0131n\u0131n bir mesle\u011fin gerektirdi\u011fi t\u00fcm bilgi ve becerilerle donanm\u0131\u015f mezunlar yeti\u015ftirmesi) \u015fekilde tespit edilmesi, yeterlilik temelli \u00f6\u011frenmenin belki de en \u00f6nemli ve en zor k\u0131sm\u0131d\u0131r.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\">4.5.3.2 Ders ve program tasar\u0131m\u0131<\/h4>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\">Western Governors \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde, \u00fcniversitede g\u00f6rev yapan konu alan uzmanlar\u0131, \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc taraflar\u0131n sahip oldu\u011fu \u00e7evrim i\u00e7i \u00f6\u011fretim programlar\u0131ndan veya yay\u0131nevlerinin e-kitap gibi farkl\u0131 kaynaklar\u0131ndan se\u00e7im yaparak dersleri olu\u015ftururlar. A\u00e7\u0131k ders kaynaklar\u0131 giderek daha yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131lmaya ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Western Governors \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde bir \u00f6\u011frenme y\u00f6netim sistemi kullan\u0131lmasa da her ders i\u00e7in \u00f6zel olarak tasarlanm\u0131\u015f bir portal bulunmaktad\u0131r. \u00dcniversite ve yay\u0131nevleri aras\u0131nda yap\u0131lan s\u00f6zle\u015fmeler \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde, \u00f6\u011frencilere \u00fccretsiz olarak e-kitap hizmeti sunulmaktad\u0131r. Derslerin t\u00fcm\u00fc \u00f6nceden belirlenmekte olup \u00f6\u011frencilere se\u00e7meli ders olana\u011f\u0131 verilmemektedir. \u00d6\u011frenciler programlara ayl\u0131k olarak kabul edilmekte, her bir yeterli\u011fi kendi h\u0131zlar\u0131nda edinmekte ve geli\u015ftirmektedirler.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Belirli yeterliliklere sahip olan \u00f6\u011frenciler e\u011fitim bilimleri veya yazma gibi uygun alanlardaki di\u011fer \u00f6n lisans programlar\u0131ndan kredi transferi yapmak veya haz\u0131r olduklar\u0131n\u0131 hissettiklerinde s\u0131nava girmek suretiyle kay\u0131tl\u0131 olduklar\u0131 program\u0131 h\u0131zland\u0131rabilmektedirler (<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">\u00e7o\u011funlukla <\/span><\/span><em class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>do\u011frudan<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"> de\u011ferlendirme olarak da bilinir<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\">).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\">4.5.3.3 \u00d6\u011frenci deste\u011fi<\/h4>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\">\u00d6\u011frenci deste\u011fi de kurumdan kuruma de\u011fi\u015fiklik g\u00f6stermektedir. Western Governors \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde mentor olarak g\u00f6rev yapan 750 \u00f6\u011fretim eleman\u0131 bulunmaktad\u0131r. \u0130ki t\u00fcr mentor vard\u0131r: \u2018\u00f6\u011frenci\u2019 mentorler ve \u2018ders\u2019 mentorleri. \u0130lgili konu alan\u0131nda yeterli\u011fe sahip olan \u00f6\u011frenci mentorler, ki genellikle y\u00fcksek lisans \u00f6\u011frencisidirler, \u00f6\u011frencilerin ana irtibat noktas\u0131d\u0131r ve derse ili\u015fkin ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak kendi \u00f6\u011frencileriyle haftada en az iki kere telefonla ileti\u015fime ge\u00e7erler. Bir \u00f6\u011frenci mentor\u00fc, yakla\u015f\u0131k 85 \u00f6\u011frenciden sorumludur. \u00d6\u011frenciler okulun ilk g\u00fcn\u00fcnde mentorleriyle \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flar ve mezun olana kadar onlarla ba\u011flant\u0131 h\u00e2linde olurlar. \u00d6\u011frenci mentorleri, \u00f6\u011frencilerin uygun \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma h\u0131z\u0131na ve d\u00fczenine ula\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flar ve \u00f6\u011frenciler sorun ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131nda onlara destek olurlar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"font-family: Book Antiqua, serif;\">Ders ment\u00f6rleri daha nitelikli ve bilgi sahibidirler. Genellikle doktora \u00f6\u011frencilerinden olu\u015fan ders mentorleri, gerekti\u011finde \u00f6\u011frencilere ek destek sa\u011flarlar.
